Friġġ / Acting
I performed the role of Rosemary in FRIĠĠ, a new bilingual monologue written by Lara Agius and produced by Chewing Productions. The work explored themes of identity, the body, and love, weaving together Maltese and English to reflect the inner tensions and vulnerabilities of its central character.
Through an intimate and physically present performance, FRIĠĠ navigates the pressures of self-control, nourishment, and expectation, placing the audience in close proximity to Rosemary’s emotional and psychological landscape. The production was presented with post-performance panel discussions, creating space for dialogue around the themes raised in the work.
Premiered at 1X1 Collections of Monologues in September 2024 & Ħolqa — International Arts Festival in March 2025.
